Our values guide our actions and interactions at UC Irvine. These awards are a small way of recognizing those members of our campus community who bring these values to life through their leadership, dedication and example. — Chancellor Michael Drake
The Living Our Values Awards honor members of the UC Irvine community whose actions best embody the university’s values of respect, intellectual curiosity, integrity, commitment, empathy, appreciation and fun. Awards are presented annually in the spring (with nominations during fall).
Any current UC Irvine student, staff member or faculty member may be nominated, with special attention to individuals who have stepped up to meet particularly challenging or difficult circumstances. Nomination must be submitted by at least one person other than the nominee.
Each person receiving an award will direct a $1,000 contribution to the UC Irvine program of his or her choice. These contributions will be made on their behalf. All annual honorees will be invited to a special luncheon with campus leadership.
Nominations for the 2013-14 Living Our Values Award have concluded. Thank you for your interest.
