High School Honors Students Visit UC Irvine
More than 1,500 high school students and their families attended Honors Experience Day in March at UC Irvine. The annual event introduces recently admitted honors students to UCI through laboratory and library tours, financial aid presentations, dorm visits and a picnic in Aldrich Park.
Guests also met with Chancellor Michael Drake, discussed campus life with current students and attended faculty lectures.
The event was one step in UCI’s admissions and recruitment process. UCI will post all freshman admissions notifications by the end of March and students have until May 1 to send in statements of intent to register.
Chancellor Drake meets current UCI students who served as campus representatives during Honors Experience Day.
