Faculty subcommittee meets to begin review of candidates. March/April Advisory Committee meets to narrow the candidate pool to 6-8 candidates from which the president will select 3-4 finalists who will be invited to interview. May President interviews finalists and recommends chancellor finalist to the Regents during closed session. June New UC Irvine chancellor is named.
