Chancellor Drake Reviews New Seat Design for Free Wheelchair Mission

On Sept. 28, a team of students from The Henry Samueli School of Engineering shared with Chancellor Drake their newest seat design for the Free Wheelchair Mission, an organization devoted to engineering and distributing low-cost wheelchairs to developing nations. Chancellor Drake was briefed on the engineering design process behind the new seat and how the new chair increases comfort and improves posture while decreasing cost.
