Chancellor Drake Greets Master’s and Doctoral Students at Graduate Orientation

Chancellor Michael Drake greeted master’s and doctoral students at UCI’s first-ever campuswide Graduate Orientation Sept. 17 at the Student Center. The inaugural event brought together hundreds of students from dozens of academic disciplines, creating more connections across the university. Common needs of all graduate students were addressed with topics that included health insurance, information technology, mentoring and workshops offered through UC Irvine’s Graduate Resource Center – one of the first such centers in the country.
