Follow-Up to Town Hall

Thank you to everyone who attended our town hall meeting last week. We had an excellent turnout and were impressed with your collective spirit and your willingness to work together during these difficult times.

A few key points for those of you who were not able to attend:

• We will host additional town halls in the coming weeks including at least one at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. The dates for these meetings will be announced shortly.
• If you haven’t done so, I encourage you to view President Yudof’s video message on this matter and to read the associated materials including regents’ items – J1 and J2.
• Visit www.uci.edu regularly for updates on the salary reduction/furlough program.
