Chancellor Drake Honors Student Scholars

During the Seventh Annual Student Scholarship Recognition Luncheon May 29 at the University Club, Chancellor Michael Drake honored students with outstanding academic records who won prestigious scholarships and fellowships. Winners included 37 undergraduates receiving Fulbright Fellowships, six Truman Scholars and 27 Goldwater Scholars. More than 300 UCI students received academic awards or achieved honorable mention, alternate or finalist status.
