Distinguished & Chancellor’s Professors Honored

Chancellor Michael Drake and Executive Vice Chancellor & Provost Gottfredson honored the recipients of the Chancellor’s Professor and Distinguished Professor designations on May 27 at Calit2.

UCI’s Chancellor’s Professor title is reserved for faculty members who have demonstrated unusual academic merit and whose continued promise for scholarly achievement is unusually high. The Distinguished Professor title is reserved for faculty who have achieved the very highest levels of scholarship over the course of their careers.
